About Us
We are proud members of the American Whippet Club and Lone Star Whippet Club. Nickeroos are recognized as AKC Breeders of Merit.
Prior to reproducing, all of our adult dogs undergo full health testing, such as OFA advanced echocardiograms, OFA eye certifications, & BAER hearing exams. We also have BAER hearing & OFA eye exams performed on our puppies, because we are dedicated to raising healthy Whippets.

Our family has always had a genuine love and passion for animals. Living deep in the heart of Texas, we have loved and owned horses and different breeds of dogs.
There is no other breed quite like a Whippet! We were immediately fascinated by their unique personalities and soulful eyes. We instantly fell in love with their innate ability to so closely connect with people’s feelings and emotions.
My daughters have been raised around Whippets, and I am so proud we all share the same love & passion for them. Rachel and I have enjoyed competing with our Whippets over the years. We occasionally breed to produce healthy AKC champions, performance dogs, therapy dogs, & beloved family companions.
Our puppies are raised in our home with love. People have told us that our Whippets touch their lives in ways no other dog has before. We are so happy & honored to share our Whippets with these loving families. For us, that’s what it’s all about! 💜
